2023 IIHF World Championship schedule released – Home of Hockey awaits the teams
The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) has released the groups and game schedule of the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship on 8 September.
Tampere co-hosts the tournament with Riga, the capital of Latvia. Both cities will host one group in preliminary round, and quarterfinals, but from semifinals onwards the games will be played in Tampere.
The tournament will be played on May 12–28, 2023. Defending champion Finland will play the United States, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, France, Austria and Hungary in Group A.
